Phones are not allowed outside of the locker rooms, in the saunas or on the pool deck.
For privacy, safety, and the integrity of the space, phones brought in will be taken and left at the front desk for retrival after the visit. We appreciate your respect for this policy.
Our towels are a waffle weave, 100% cotton, intentionally thinner than a traditional terrycloth towel, so they don’t retain sweat as much, making them more hygienic and effective in the sauna environment.
Sauna and cold water immersion place intentional stress on the body. This is part of the practice, and it asks for respect & attention.
Hydration is one of the most important elements of your experience at Lore. Please make a plan to stay hydrated before, during, and after your session. We have a bottle fill station at the top of the back stairs, and a water fountain across from the door to the main sauna.
Please approach heat and cold with care. If you have any medical conditions, we recommend checking with your doctor before participating. If at any point you feel unwell, dizzy, or overwhelmed, step out of the sauna or pool, sit down slowly, and hydrate. Our team is always nearby; please let us know if you need support.
Lore is a private space, and respect toward our fellow bathers is paramount to the community we are building together. Phones must be left in the changing room, and filming and photography are strictly prohibited in the space. If you do bring your phone past the locker rooms, a staff member will bring it up to the front desk, where we will keep it safely until your exit.
Lore is a space for quiet connection, we ask our members to speak quietly in a manner that is not disruptive to other members' use of the space.
Please be considerate when moving through the space and entering the cold plunge. Walk slowly and be mindful of yourself and others. Our goal is for Lore to be a place of quiet restoration and connection.
All guests are expected to treat others with respect. Any form of unwanted attention toward another guest, including staring, comments, gestures, or physical contact, is not permitted.
Our team is here to help hold the environment with care. Please follow their guidance as part of our shared commitment to safety, comfort, and collective wellbeing.
All bodies belong here. Every guest is worthy of dignity and respect. We celebrate diversity across gender, identity, and appearance, and ask that all members do the same.
Please take a moment to rinse off before entering the sauna. Showering protects your skin and the sauna benches.
