Do members need to book in advance?

Bookings are recommened but not required. We welcome walk in's but without a booking a we cannot guarantee availability.

How does booking, cancellation, and arrival work?
  • Booking: Reservations are required for members to guarantee entry.
  • Cancellations: Must be made at least 1 hour before your session so others can take your spot.
  • No-shows: Will be charged $35.
Drop-in guests will lose their session credit.
  • Arrival window: We open checkin's up to 15 minutes before or after your reserved time.
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive later than the 15-minute window, we’ll work with you to reschedule based on availability. This may require entering later if sessions are full.
What are your opening hours?

During our soft opening phase, bookable hours are as follows:

  • Weekdays: :30 PM - 45 PMCancellations: Must be made at least 1 hour before your session so others can take your spot.
  • Weekends: 11:00 AM - 5:45 PM

As we continue to grow, our expanded hours will be 7:00 AM - 9:45 PM seven days a week.

How long is each session?

All sessions are 75 minutes.
Our goal with Lore is to establish a frequent practice, which equates to more frequent shorter visits rather than fewer longer. We operate largely on an honor system and appreciate your cooperation in keeping sessions to 75 minutes for everyone.

What should I bring?
  • Swimsuit (required)
  • Water bottle (encouraged) - no glass, and be aware that a metal bottle may become quite hot in the sauna
Please note: glass bottles are not allowed.
Why can’t I bring a glass water bottle?

Glass bottles can explode under extreme heat and may damage sauna surfaces or cause injury. For everyone’s safety, only non-glass water bottles are permitted.

What are your membership freeze options?

We offer a one-month membership freeze for both monthly and annual members.

During your freeze:

  • You won’t be charged for one month
  • For annual members, we’ll add that month to the end of your membership

This can be used during a month of your choosing.

Do you offer guest passes?

Yes! Members may bring guests for $35 per visit (as compared to $55 for a drop-in session).

  • No price difference between weekday and weekend visits
  • Members may bring as many guests as space allows per session
Will rates change?

Yes. Rates will increase throughout the year as we expand membership and enhance our offerings. Members secure their rate for a 12 month period. Locking in early helps secure current pricing.

What is your phone policy?

Phones are not allowed outside of the locker rooms, in the saunas or on the pool deck.
For privacy, safety, and the integrity of the space, phones brought in will be taken and left at the front desk for retrival after the visit. We appreciate your respect for this policy.

What's your approach to towels?

Our towels are a waffle weave, 100% cotton, intentionally thinner than a traditional terrycloth towel, so they don’t retain sweat as much, making them more hygienic and effective in the sauna environment.

code of conduct

Safety

Sauna and cold water immersion place intentional stress on the body. This is part of the practice, and it asks for respect & attention.

Hydration is one of the most important elements of your experience at Lore. Please make a plan to stay hydrated before, during, and after your session. We have a bottle fill station at the top of the back stairs, and a water fountain across from the door to the main sauna.

Please approach heat and cold with care. If you have any medical conditions, we recommend checking with your doctor before participating. If at any point you feel unwell, dizzy, or overwhelmed, step out of the sauna or pool, sit down slowly, and hydrate. Our team is always nearby; please let us know if you need support.

Personal Conduct

Lore is a private space, and respect toward our fellow bathers is paramount to the community we are building together. Phones must be left in the changing room, and filming and photography are strictly prohibited in the space. If you do bring your phone past the locker rooms, a staff member will bring it up to the front desk, where we will keep it safely until your exit.

Lore is a space for quiet connection, we ask our members to speak quietly in a manner that is not disruptive to other members' use of the space.

Please be considerate when moving through the space and entering the cold plunge. Walk slowly and be mindful of yourself and others. Our goal is for Lore to be a place of quiet restoration and connection.

All guests are expected to treat others with respect. Any form of unwanted attention toward another guest, including staring, comments, gestures, or physical contact, is not permitted.

Our team is here to help hold the environment with care. Please follow their guidance as part of our shared commitment to safety, comfort, and collective wellbeing.

All bodies belong here. Every guest is worthy of dignity and respect. We celebrate diversity across gender, identity, and appearance, and ask that all members do the same.

Sauna

Please take a moment to rinse off before entering the sauna. Showering protects your skin and the sauna benches.

Upon entering the sauna, we suggest sitting on a towel to protect your skin.

Please rinse off when transitioning from the sauna to the cold pool to maintain the highest possible hygiene standards.

The Department of Health regulates the temperature in the sauna. Only trained members of the Lore team are permitted to put water on the rocks.

Please leave your slides/footwear on the ground at the bottom bench before climbing up.

Cold Plunge

Please exercise caution when entering and exiting the cold plunge. Jumping, diving, and any other disruptive behavior is not permitted.
